Arnold’s Home Improvement believes in the local community and in giving back. For more than 23 years Arnold’s has been supported by the community and what better way to give back than to help an area family in need, while teaming up with the Mud Hens and Owens Corning.
Arnold’s Home Improvement offered the chance for one lucky and deserving family to win a free roof worth up to $11,000 in the Arnold’s Home Improvement “Raze the Roof” contest.

“When we say free, we mean free,” Arnold explained. “Except for wood replacement, we are providing everything, from the tear off and disposal of their old roof to installing our premium, Platinum lifetime roofing system, which includes the very best Owens Corning products, to providing a 50 year, non pro-rated warranty on materials and a lifetime workmanship warranty, fully backed and covered by Owens Corning, all at no cost to them.”
“We have now announced our 10 finalists and are letting the public decide the winner by voting on our facebook page, where their photos and essays are posted. We have some very, very compelling stories out there of people who are really in dire need of a new roof. Some of the stories actually brought tears to our eyes.” Jason stated.
This isn’t the first time Arnold’s Home Improvement has embarked on an endeavor to dramatically impact a family’s life. Three years ago, Arnold’s Home Improvement owner, Jason Arnold, created and spearheaded The Garcia Project, where Jason recruited other local contractors to build a new addition for a local family with triplets, two of whom have cerebral palsy.
Raze the Roof entrants submitted photos and a short essay explaining why they were in need of a helping hand to tear off their old, leaking and worn out roof and install a brand new roof for absolutely free.
Ten finalists were announced and family, friends and the public have been voting on the Arnold’s Facebook page, where the photos and essays are posted.
