Are you licensed?
Yes, Arnold's Home Improvement is fully licensed and insured. We are also an EPA-certified lead contractor in both Ohio and Michigan, ensuring we meet the necessary regulatory requirements for all of our home improvement projects, from walk in shower installation to roof repair. What does it mean to be an EPA-certified lead contractor?
Being an EPA-certified lead contractor means our employees who handle lead-based paint have received proper training and certification through an accredited state program. This training gives us specialized knowledge about properties with lead-based paint. For example, according to the EPA, lead-based paint can be found in 87% of homes built before 1940, but this figure decreases to 24% for homes built between 1960 and 1978.
We use this training and experience to adhere to established guidelines for renovation project notifications, pre-renovation education, work practices, and record keeping when dealing with lead-based paints. If you're looking for bath remodelers and are worried about lead, we're here to help!
