What does it mean to be an EPA-Certified Lead Contractor?
Answer: It means that all Arnolds Home Improvement employees who work with lead-based paint have been properly trained and certified through an accredited state program. Certified organizations commit to following established rules and requirements for renovation project notifications, pre-renovation education requirements, renovation work practices, and additional record keeping when working with lead-based paints.

Answer: We are honored and humbled to win such a prestigious award. BBB Torch Awards were created to showcase ethical companies and charities in Northwestern Ohio and Southeastern Michigan that build trust, advertise honestly, tell the truth, remain transparent and honor their promises. BBB Torch Award entries were evaluated by an independent panel of judges comprised of volunteer business and community leaders. The award was presented to Arnolds Home Improvement at the 10th Annual Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics event.
Are you and your employees insured?
Answer: Yes, we carry $2 million in General and Professional Liability Insurance, as well as Worker’s Compensation Insurance. Additionally, all of our employees have undergone a criminal background check.
How many years have you been in business?
Answer: Arnolds Home Improvement started in 1990 as Arnold’s Roofing. We are proud and humbled to say that we have been in business for 22 years.
What is your process for making home improvement projects go smoother?
Answer: We believe that the process is as important as the home improvement project itself. As a result, we have developed a unique 7-Point Value Home Improvement Implementation Process for communicating and managing your home improvement project. It is our ability to implement this systematic approach to managing projects that allow projects to go smoother and provide home owners peace of mind.
Is it true that you do not require payment until I am 100% satisfied with my project?
Answer: Yes. On most jobs*, we do not require any upfront payment or money down. Your payment is due once you are 100% completely satisfied with our work.

Is your office staffed? What are your hours of operation?
Answer: Yes, we have a staffed, full-time office that is open 8:00 AM to 5 PM, Monday-Friday. Our office staff is professional, knowledgeable and courteous and is there to assist you in scheduling your free, no-hassle estimate, answer your questions or anything else for that matter.
Tell me about your home improvement estimators.
Answer: Many of our estimators have risen through the ranks of the organization after spending considerable time in the office. They go through extensive training in the field as well as Owens Corning’s Top of the House training. Our founder and owner, Jason Arnold, is required to attend at least 30 hours of continuing education training every three years.

Who is invited to attend our free, no-hassle project estimate appointment?
Answer: We recommend all decision makers be present at your project estimate appointment. Typically, everyone has some sort of input or information to add about the project.
How long will the free, no-hassle project estimate appointment take?
Answer: On average, project estimates take 60 minutes to complete. Please note, however, that we understand the investment that is involved with your project and are willing to spend as much time as needed to answer all your questions.
*Standard projects include roofing, windows, gutters, siding and insulation. Special projects, like new garages, decks, home additions, kitchen modeling, etc. will need plans to be developed and may require a down payment.
